Kent International Airport
Kent International handled 2,265 tonnes of freight in January, down 39% against January 2008.
Cargolux tonnage again recorded a significant rise against the prior year, however this continues to be offset by the reduced MK Airlines volume (-84%).
At 17,554 tonnes, the year-to-date freight performance is 30% down on the same period in 2007/08.

Bad news today for CAS staff; they are all redundant. 14 months' ownership by a Nigerian company, and nothing achieved. We know there are people queuing up to use the facility; perhaps now a serious player can take over.

At BAWC LHR I have yet to speak to anyone that confirms this. It was merely an exercise and the likely move in the future is LGW.
However, I can assure that BAWC at LHR and Waterside call the shots and contract GSS to do that which we require.
