According to jethros 4 more are expected to be delivered this year and the last 3 in 2009 but they don't show what dates they are due yet.
Altough someone has said that the next 195 should be here in March.

Flybe are closing down the self handling part of their GCI operation, staff were told last night, this is surely going to mean lots of redundancies, anyone know more?

According to a Flybe internal email sent out yesterday "all employees will be offered a transfer to Flight Support on no less favorable terms, retaining full continuity of service". So no redundancies by the look of things.

Fs Gci
Drink up thee cider;
Exactly... they're still going to need people to fill the jobs vacated by BE pulling their self handling ops. Who better than people who know the airport, and those who are experienced enough to continue service with no further training required.
Similar situation as in JER when aviance took over British Midland ground handling... those who worked for BD had their redundancy package, but started work the next day with aviance on similar T&Cs. Those who had been around a few years did quite well out of it!
Best of luck to those at FS GCI... Good news for GCI and for FS.

Could there be more?
The Newquay and the Isle Man flights are combined but looks good two more destination.
It looks like it is operated by the Isle of Man Dash so it might be a part charter and part schedule to the Island.
Could there be more for Flybe and Jersey to come?
It does seem that the Sister Island of Guernsey is being left behind with no signs of any thing new let alone Guernsey not being able to accept the EMB195>

flybe @ bhx
according to local newspaper report ,flybe are to announce 4 new routes from bhx in next 3 months, also says they are showing profit on ex ba routes from bhx after only a year of taking over from bacon - so all very good news and should get better when the 145's are replaced with more economic planes

Could anyone possibly tell me, when are the self service check-in machines due at CWL? I would have assumed that these would arrived by the end of the month for the start of these new services.
What are the chances in the possible Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Brussels as reported last week actually happening and if they will, when will we expect them to start operating?

Not connected to Flybe the GCI-DUB
Dublindispatch
REf the GCI-DUB on Mon, Wed and Fri.
This is being done by a Blueislands D328 which goes Gci-Iom-Dub-Gci.
The routeing might be via JER.
Nothing to do with Flybe

I see, I stand corrected slightly, Dublindispatch was talking about a Mon, Wed and Fri where as the Flybe flights are Tue, Thu and Sat.
Where did this spring from so Guernsey is not being left in the dark after all will there be more surprises before the week is out another Easter Egg?

Appears as if Blueislands is now Flybe's next target after Euromanx and Eastern. First JER-PAR, now GCI-DUB..... If Blue Islands' routes to ZRH, GVA and IOM develop nicely, I guess we will see Flybe moving in on them as well....

Flybe try to hire actors as passengers to increase passenger numbers.
Flybe advertised for actors to fly between Norwich and Dublin to boost passenger numbers and avoid a £280k penalty.
Flybe took the step to avoid the charge from Norwich Airport if it did not carry 15,000 pax on the route by 31st March.
The airport criticised flybe for pointlessly damaging the environment by flying ghost passengers on their planes.
Flybe which did not use actors in the end, blamed the airport, calling it "intransigent and greedy".
