I think you'll find the Iberia was at Bristol, not Leeds.
Of course, quite correct. In my haste I was getting my two least favourite airfields mixed up

It looks like the Shaheen Air flights have gone on sale. Their website has been updated to say they are on sale via travel agents.

So, some good news for Leeds at last after losing the FlyBe Aberdeen and Aer Arann Galway flights over the last few weeks.

2nd Lba Security Breach

Just seen on the news, That a 2nd security breach was made at LBA on Monday.

The inbound Pax from BRU were not sent through the right Int
arrivals point, And sent through the domestic instead.

The error was said to have been made by 'human error'

A Pax commented saying 'the young girl' was not sure which arrivals point we would use - so we ended up in domestic arrivals

The local MP Greg Mulholland is said to be 'baffled' as to another blunder in recent weeks by the airport.

The airport responded saying that the situation was discovered shortly afterwards, And it was a case of 'human error'

I wouldn't call it a "security breach", more of an immigration / customs issue.

It is not a staff training issue.
Have schools been abolished for god sake.
I remember one time coming to Krakow.
The girl at the check in desk told me she was obliged to hand me a notice to inform me that all flights over France were subject to big delays because of an ATC strike.
I expressed great concern and asked why the hell flights to Krakow were going over France. She said oh! where is Krakow?

Hi
EAL/EAF code belongs to European Aviation Air Charter. The flights are been operated by Boeing 737-200, G-CEAE. It's currently based at LBA and has been operating Lapland charters since Monday and stays here until Christmas Eve.

It has moved from it's old position and is the fire ground training airframe.

I believe it was the Aer Arann one that made a bad landing at Sheffield City many years ago.

The 360 shell was moved to its present location for an emergency / certification exercise in November. It was to simulate an a/c having slid off the side of the runway and to allow a full-scale exercise to be undertaken without closing the airport.

Bl@@dy cold it was too....
