Speaking of long delays on Cyprus flights, does anyone know what has happened to the TOM inbound from Larnaca? Due in at 1900 Sunday but the arrivals board now stating "Expected 1330" (Monday). I take it the lack of the departure on the board means it may have gone tech after leaving NCL?

Pembo, yes the LCA arrived on schedule, well it departed NCL ontime. Replacement a/c sourced for yesterday evenings BJV rotation (763), which suffered a minor problem, but left a little late. Inbound LCA due in lunchtime today.
Anyone know what the problem is that keeps affecting the AirBee/Itali NAP rotation on a sunday?
Regarding Viking and MD83 to HER, how come the aircraft was overweight? Is there performance issues for this aircraft departing here and flying to the Greek Islands? Just that Onur Air used to fly MD88 to DLM, which is a little further or is it?

What do you mean "down to 5xdaily"?? AMS is only 5x day now!! A 73 on the tea time means an increase in seats available.

KLM Winter 08
it looks as though the second departure has been downgraded to a F70 meaning that there is no difference to the Number of seats just different aircraft at different times of the day

No news to staff as yet but many are suspicious as to why flight deck no.s on the 75 have more than doubled from last year when there is one less airframe?
Sharm announced from MAN and LBA but no news from NCL for W08 except Canaries and the Las Palmas has been dropped from that!

Surely TFS will be operated...very popular route in winter for Geordies, would of thought that LPA was also well utilised, maybe not. Always remember Flyjet and Freedom Flights used to fill TFS/ACE/LPA/SSH through the winter on a flight only basis, so maybe Jet2 could also.

Jet 2 just doing one flight a week to TFS this winter instead of previous two per week. The decline continues!.
Just had a look at the CAA provisional stats for May from NCL. I think there are still a couple of routes missing but it shows a 10% reduction in pax Vs May last year. Dose not make good reading, with most main routes down (shedule and charter) on numbers. Yet most other airports except a very small number (including Liverpool and Durham which are also showing decline)are still showing growth. Obviously the reduction in based aircraft is having a major effect.
I wonder if the cutbacks have been to severe and there is a problem with availability on some routes. I believe some of the schedules to places like STN and BRS are a reason for reductions on these routes ie only one morning flight. I am sure when these routes started many years ago it was two morning returns and one evening rotation, certainly to BRS.
Seems strange that the first in from AMS and second out from NCL at the moment to be F70 for winter, These are usually the most used services.

yeh! yeh!, and the source you basis this on is.................?????
Should LBA be successful, NCL may well see a short series of flights operated by Jet2, though purely on a charter basis..,
