Does anyone know where the diverted flights went to this evening? I'm guessing it was due to the gusts? I see Hannover and Exeter both diverted with the BE Southampton service still "Holding Overhead" according to the airport's website?? Wonder if MME got any extra business???

HLX went to Glasgow, the BE came to MME according to the DTVMovements website! It is possible other BE's may come here as well as any Eastern's.....I guess it's just the luck of the draw as to who gets in and who doesn't in these winds?

Hh6702/ Rome
Sorry to dissapoint but flights to Rome on M,W,F,Su released for summer 2008 when rest of flights from NCL with Easyjet put on sale several weeks ago.
Maybe they will release some new routes from NCL later but I would be quite surprised.

New routes from HH6702
I refer you all to the previous postings of this guy. He appears to live in a make believe world..would make a good journo!
The reality is, a year of consolidation..only 5 Easy aircraft at most times and very little new (if any)in the way of route development.
Egnt has peeked passenger wise in 2007 and it will be 2009/10 before the passenger levels are upward again.
Many other airports will be similar.

HH6702 where do you get your information from?
Where are AB going to be flying to?
Where do you suppose new EZY destinations are going to be?
On a separate issue, anyone have any guesses on which HA TOM will go to when their contract is for renewal in the next few months? After Servisair winning TCX, is there a chance that TOM could eventually continue their nationwide contract to NCL?

XL Airways are scheduled to operate the charter service, have done for past few summers out of NCL. Previously SATA and Euroatlantic have operated it - always been popular!

FNC has been on sale since may 2007 with airtours holidays.
it was only thomsons which will not have seats to FNC from ncl for s08.
XLA was the last i heard but it may change although just been looking at the times the other day it had change to 14:25 out back 23:55 mondays so could still do the CFU in the morning.

The contract isn't up for renewal in the next few months, TOM have just renewed with swissport very recently.
Yes, but with the standard 60 or 90 day termination clause. If the new group are rationalising their ground agents who knows when the call for new rates will be made.

Passenger stats NCL
According to CAA "provisional stats" passenger figures for Nov 07 are 6.9% down on previous Nov. I note there are still a few numbers to add ie BRS, so the final figure may be better. However I think this is going to be the trend for the next 12 months at least. It may get to a much larger reduction next summer.
Noted that the Stansted is 32% down since the frequency was cut. Dubai slightly less than Oct, but no school hols during the November period. Could be a lot worse.

Actual figure for November or should say provisional: -
11196 / 60 sectors = 186.6 per flight or 67% load factor.
Again pretty good figures and November is far from the best month, soon
be over 200 per flight one thinks.
