The Dublin car parking appearing as Shannon is nothing more than the DAA shared services team being located in Shannon airport.
Shannon didn't become profitable overnight - that's was the optics of debt forgiveness with a dose of politics added in.
In saying that, Shannon nurtured and grew ARI into a profitable, respected global business that is still winning major contracts in hubs like Abu Dhabi. It's now run from the link building in Dublin with no more than a skeleton staff remaining in Shannon and the decades of corporate knowledge lost forever.
Ryanair killed cityjet on the SNN CDG route and killed RE on MAN.
Perhaps EI regional will try CDG with their new superjets, although cityjet know the market all too well.

Berlin finally bookable, TUE/SAT.
I honestly can't get my head around Ryanair's strategy of changing Krakow and Berlin, 2 highly profitable, highly popular routes from a great MON/FRI rotation to TUE/SAT.

Are Ryanair normally in the business of changing days of operation on 'profitable routes' - from experience I Would suggest they can get stronger yield and load factor on these days on those particular routes elsewhere in Europe hence the change In my opinion - serviced from regional airports tend to get the off peak days i.e. 2,4,6 with the peak days assigned to bigger more profitable airports

Tell me again why they would move a profitable route to bad days?

Im open to you explaining this one to us as you know they are profitable? if the slots are empty and a/c is sitting up is this not an even worse scenario that they arent utilising same? maybe we will see something else come into the equation - more sun?

My opinion on the matter is they are deliberately making the routes unprofitable so they can leave Shannon. Without giving away too much, this is what's needed to be done in order not yo break any agreements.

Why don't you tell us why seen as you apparently have access to he airlines finances and you seem to know for certain that these routes were oh so profitable.
You're telling MOL how to run an airline so go on, you tell us.
