If you like to browse a book rather than a monitor (who doesn't?)
"The Handbook Of Aviation Meteorology" by Met. Office (HMSO) 1994 is a classic.
>400 pages, revised after 20 years and much rewritten by forecasting staff.
I got mine on ebay in mint condition. Older versions back to 1960 are available for less than a fiver, and may be OK for a browse, and a lot of the stuff will not be too out of date, but you really need to look for the last edition.
