Hi all. Has the format of the assessment process changed now? I’ve been invited to book onto a capacity test at LHR. Wasn’t the capacity test, interview and group exercise done all on one day in the past? Any reason for the change?

Prep

Hi guys, quick question. What website would you recommend for interview prep? There are a few websites offering the preparation but I feel like the LatestPilotJobs.com is the winner.
What are your thoughts?

Hi! Could anyone be so kind to DM me any details about these capacity tests and the other selection stages (interview/group exercise and the sim check). Also is there any software anyone can recommend to practice the capacity test. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

I have seen the recent flyer BA have produced with salary and benefits highlighted. The Long Haul salary is only up to year 7, is anyone able to provide the full FO/SFO pay scales akin to the Virgin table on their thread? Have taken a look on PPJN but it seems to be somewhat out of date.

Thanks in advance.

I am also interested.

There seems to be a fair number of applicants interested in this. If anyone does have information related to the assessments it would be beneficial if its a public post as it would help a lot of other people as well. Thank you in advance!

The LH scale goes up linearly every year till the top at Year34 so just extrapolate out from those figures.
The short-haul scale starts at the same point and also goes up linearly over 34yrs, but each increase is only 72% of the LH increase.
Capt salary is 1.33x the FO salary on the same fleet and paypoint.

Thanks all for the useful info on this thread. Sorry for the repeated request, but any PM with capacity test information would be much appreciated this way too. Safe flying all.

Based on the current bid run for the 2024 training year, very very short. You would have to join as an FO, then assuming you met the experience requirements, place a bid for P1 on the A320. That bid would be processed. There are pilots who joined in 2023 who have been given a successful P1 bid for 2024, so 1-2 years.

Out of interest - what are those experience requirements? Thanks in advance

that great news glidehigh !
Thank you for the info.

I have booked a Crew Capacity test for 1 hours in LHR.

Is anybody in this phase?
Will these be only tests or will there be also an interview?

Thank you for your help!
