F/O Jets. Air 2000. I'm beginning to think that the company's claims that they pay one of the best salaries amongst UK airlines is all a big fib!! Even SFO at JMC earns more!
I take home around £2300 a month most months (including flight pay).
That is after my pension though and we do get the standard benefits.
Yes I'd like more money. But on the other hand, its one of the best occupations in the world.

Hi, A and C - I don't know why, but they always do, every time. It makes my day! Pop along to my office and have a coffee, it's walking distance if it's not raining. Bring me up a 53 with extra whitener from the free coffee machine.

My brother flies as an F/O on the 757/767 for Delta in the States and current monthly take home pay after just 2 years is $7,500 USD per month pre-tax (don't know Pound Sterling translation). That's great for only being there two years - and that is before Delta's new contract is hammered out...

He expects $130/hr as a 767 domestic F/O flying 75 hours per month with the new contract. You're right, the US flyboys are paid a lot more than their Euro counterparts. You can thank United Airlines and their new pilot contract for that! What a great profession!

Happy Flying!

SFO CFE 3 1/2 Yrs service
£1,912 Take home (Includes £385 allowances!)
50 Sharesave
148 Pension (+182 by Co)

Not brilliant but I had to go into London the other day on public transport. Not having to do that every day is worth at least £1000 a month to me.

Very funny, Scotty. Now beam up my clothes!

Average $9000 take home after all deductions
B767 FO Continental airlines, 13yrs with the
company though and all of our fun times in
the 80's and early 90's!

Hourly rate is $117 for 757 $138 for 767, unlike other US carriers we do not have true
equipment differential for pay. categories
are small narrowbody (B737/500/300/700)
medium narrowbody(B737/800/900 MD-80)
widebody (B767-200/767-400/B777 DC-10)

Top widebody captain is just over $200/hr
(about what a Delta 737 captain makes)
unfortunately we have poor unity, resulting in a weak union and resulting contract.
Perhaps due to our (still numerous) strike
breakers and their influence.

Air 2000 SFO 3 years B757 & B767. £3750 Gross including FDA. After tax, NI, pension and sharesave took home £2120 net. After 5% is removed for pension company adds 15% which is not too bad. So in reality monies not paid to taxman = £2780 plus private health and other insurances.

Senior Dispatcher. 2 1/2 yrs in company. Tax in Denmark is horrendous, in the 55 % bracket (yes it's true, and an entry level VW Golf is around £18K). Before tax around £2000/month working around 150 hours. Take home, you calculate it's too depressing to see on print more than once a month ....

But I can drink beers on a regular basis, and won't have to look over my shoulder for a C4 camera crew, AND have a smoke in the office too !!! AND sleep in my own bed every night ('cept for week-ends if you catch my drift ..)

Do have to put up with a lot of pilot crap from time to time, but that's what makes the job so much fun ! Nah, they're usually a great bunch.

Ok, it took me a while to figure this out, bonus and everything, but here it is.

Corporate Chief Pilot. Saber 65 and now Falcon 900EX.

Take home after taxes and retirement.

$ 10, 235.56 a month.
This is a two year average.

I had to round off the cents.

P.S. This does not include the company car, my wife going with me on long trips (all expences paid), stock options, ect.

Oh yes, really paid holidays, as in the company pays for my holiday.
