Missed that too, tho unlikely I'd have seen it. I did see the BA 777 positioning from Gatwick to Heathrow at just 4000' Even my neighbour was getting excited, pointing it out to her baby!

Ah, much of me is failing with age but me hearing is still great! A distant and slight throb in the air...? Yup, Chinook at the time over the A40 at Park Royal, now blattering eastwards along the Thames at Barnes. I'm in Sanderstead woodland what 15 miles from Park Royal, but away from traffic and no obstructions between...

Ah, I could only see Kukri1 on ADSB. Double double blattering then, no wonder I could hear them. Looks like they paid a visit to my sister on their way in to Honington.
Can see a JetBlue A321 just passing west over London from Amsterdam, is this a new service? Seen them often enough in and out of Heathrow and Gatters...
Edit: at 32,000' I'm assuming a fuel stop at Shannon shortly...

Typhoon out of Lossiemouth, callsign “JEDI 0011” had routed south over Isle of Man at fl420. Typhoon then met up with RAF Voyager ZZ335 as RRR9013 at fl200 off Lands End for refuel. Both aircraft then routed south over Brest peninsula over the Bay of Biscay. Voyager then took up a AAR hold abeam La Rochelle, whilst assume the Typhoon met up with something,…
assume French a/f? Both Voyager and Typhoon returned on reciprocal, with Typhoon doing AAR off Cornwall before rtb Lossiemouth and Voyager rtb Brize.

Not sure if I've ever seen one of the Fletcher derivatives, possibly at Paris one of the years I went...

Been past a few years ago but not actually to the airfield... that's the ZK- one I assume?
I have noted over the years, that there seems to be a preponderance of foreign registered aircraft used for parachute jumping based entirely in another country. Most of the examples I can think of are UK/Ireland based, but I've seen others in various European countries. Why is this so ? Even the RAF's parachuting aircraft are not Mil and not G-regd, but Canadian ! (at my last viewing).
