Arriving at the house on winter evening, low cloud and drizzle, what was most likely the DC-6 was notably approaching, and spectacularly thundered overhead in the gloom, must have been at minimum IFR 3,000 ft, going all out, routing over the London City NDB.

An L-100-30 of the UAF went past me a while ago into LHR, not so many of those about in UK airspace these days, let alone into a civilian airport.

With regard to the above posts regarding the MO F-15E’s……apparently they are routing down to the sandpit, to exchange with the Seymour Johnson F-15’s that have been on deployment there for the past 6 months! . In respect of this 3x KC-46A’s have arrived in Mildenhall today to drag the SJ’s back to the US. This should be happening Weds/Thurs this week, with possible night stops for the F-15’s at Mildenhall. KC-46’s are operating as “Clean 06/16 and 26 respectively and should drag 4x F-15’s each!.

Ah, I noticed one of those Clean KC-46s this heading down through the northern counties this morning!

Cessna Corvalis droned over yesterday afternoon at cor blimey nose bleed altitude and behind the trees on the common. Don't think I've ever seen one or indeed a Columbia 300/350/400 unless there was one or more at Oshkosh 2001 - though I didn't peruse the stands all that much, preferring the serried ranks of warbirds and vintage types! Was one based at Biggin which carefully eluded me...

As I was walking along the Thames this afternoon a 380 was turning onto finals and it looked 'different', at first I thought that it was one of those Emirates advertising colour-schemes, but no it belonged to Korean Airlines! I haven't seen one in LHR for a few years. Perhaps 2018 ?

Went into Katowice. Nice old bird, been noted several times on here owned by Samaritan's Purse, delivering charitable donations...

Formerly with Finnair, French AF and Air Transport International. Apparently I saw it at Gatwick in April 1979 as OH-LFT, love to see it again!

Italian AF Falcon 50 passed over earlier this morning. I see it's now heading out over the pond after a fuel stop at Shannon. Still one of the most elegant looking bizjets.

I see Clean16/26 are shortly to enter UK airspace down to the southwest, towing those F15s? Hoping for clear skies tomorrow as they head home and maybe a picture or two!

A couple of Typhoon’s flew over a short while ago, northbound, after a QRA shout and escorting a Jet2 A321 into Stansted…..

They’re waiting for a tanker over Norfolk now.
