YouTube tells me there's B-1s at Fairford and Scooters (A-4s) at Lakenheath. Love the howl the A-4 makes, don't believe I've ever seen one flying. Sat in a cockpit once in California, quite snug!

Also Canadian Armed forces A330 out of East Midlands to somewhere in Europe noted on ADSB earlier.

There has been a steady stream of South American Mil airliners going back and forth E-W since the last few days. A proper evacuation plan at least.

KSS Air Ambulance just heading back to Redhill from Kings College Hospital, did a smart 180 over Coulsdon and returned to KCH. Forget to offload the patient?

Looks like the same two, twice over (so to speak).

Southwest of Calgary today, I saw a strange, chunky, twin-turboprop, flying towards me. It was only when it was side-on and I saw the swept-back leading-edges, that I realized it was a Basler DC-3.

It had been doing some strange maneuvers before I saw it.

Maybe a test-flight after some Mx, or was it surveying ?

Looking at the tracks over a wider area, maybe practicing ILS intercepts. Definitely not surveying.

Whatever it was doing, it was centred on Okotoks.

Seeing a prop-job trailing is always nice somehow, perhaps due to it's general rarity.

A 'new' 744F went into LHR this morning, on the Romanian register and looking rather like the latest iteration of Thai's livery.

Is there a VOR installed at Bournemouth? There is a Navajo "VOR1" doing an approx 60 mile circuit around BOH as though it is calibrating something, or is it to do with the new radar?

No VOR at BOH, sounds like it was a radar calibration/coverage flight check.

Thanks guys, didn't think there was a VOR there.
I remember the Ibsley one though.
Also remember the HRN and FAW NDBs. In the early 1970s the frequencys were swopped between them and this caused some confusion.
