Sitting on the common watching a tiny needle of light of reflected sun which is a C-5M heading towards Hartland Point, currently abeam Okehampton. 150 miles away?
Although still in daily use, those Galaxy's seem to be somewhat rare these days. Speaking of which, an MD-11 trailed over London this morning with the distinctive 3 contrails. Nice to see.
Looks like the lessor managed to get it out of Russia last March via Turkey to storage in Spain, where it's been for the last 9 months.
Very few -900ERs in Europe apart from THY and El Al, so I suspect it's destined for farther afield.

Ah first Spitfire of the year is audible, G-BMSB heading back into Biggin. Also first mosquito of the year, sadly anopheles rather than DH... little bugger is trying to feast on me. N9t much over freezing in these woods...

C-5M was holding over East Angular for a couple of hours pending an approach into Lakenheath, went round and has diverted to Prestwick. Presume Lakenheath/Mildenhall are a bit foggy...
USAF C-130J inbound from Lajes now holding over Marham.

This one! It's a homebuilt rather than a production example...
Interesting article about its construction: World's Slowest Falco Builder Breaks Ground (seqair.com)
Well, it was on my computer, but via YouTube. A nicely done video of a rare visitor to Canada.
Obviously it's a rare occurrence, but you'd have thought that there would be a market between Greenland and Canada. Maybe the Canucks have enough of the Greenland topology at home. Nice C/S though and easy to spot against the white snow.

Vague recollection of noting it over the UK some while ago - can't recall if I saw it in person or just c/o ADSB.
