CPT is also well used as a base for Antarctic missions, so it's possible the aircraft is being used for an internationally "approved" reason, as have some of the Volga fleet on occasion in European countries since the Ukraine invasion e.g. nuclear fuel..
FR24 indicates that this Il-76 has been operating some flights to and from Novolazarevskaya Station in Antarctica: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/ra-76503
I hope Trevor Clark doesn't mind me posting this
A jet biplane? The PZL M-15 'Belphegor' (noisy demon!) was a large jet-powered biplane, built in (Warsaw Pact) Poland and intended for use in agricultural aviation, which first flew in 1973. Intended to replace the ageing Antonov An-2, many of which still soldier on today!

No, this is a proper jet biplane! Saw it display at the recent Santa Maria airshow, and boy does it go!

To put your friend's query to bed, it's the same image on both sides of the fin! I don't know if KP nuts are a thing in the US, but presumably the Jack Link's protein snacks include a fair dose of nuts.
The jet engine is from a T-38 Talon so has some considerable "oomph" including the ability for the Waco to climb & accelerate vertically. The airframe has been strengthened to tolerate the loads on it.

Poseidon mra1 seems to be floating around Bournemouth bay this afternoon.

The wonderful AN2 a classic example of the best of Russian /Ukraine design , the aviation world's AK47. My son lives in Czechia and there is an airfield near him which sports about ten residents. The parachute club has a great AN 2 which on sunny days can be heard droning away like a constant background noise and it struggles up to xxxx feet. And, as claimed can fly backwards as I have seen it on two occasions on windy days as it seems to hang completely still up at xxxx feet until you realize it is actually going backwards. i know nothing of parachuting/sky diving but being able to go so slowly and have a huge access door and struts and other stuff to hold onto it must be pretty good.
And talking of Antonovs I heard that distinctive dull drone of Russian turbo props this evening and with FR 24s help and some clear sky an A26 was droning over fFrome, destination unknown, but headinf SSW, origin Birminghham. I am sure they are not as common as their four engined brothers and the sound wasnt so loud but it still made nice change from the strgngely musical A400s thatwe get daily. , Amazing, the Antonov model first flown 53 years ago

A friend mentioned that they's seen a grey 707 at Dublin yesterday. Any one have any idea what it was ? Seems a bit unusual. Most likely a USAF diversion, but perhaps some South American bound aircraft doing a fuel stop. Curiosity piqued.

TRTN59 descending through 7000ft heading back to Brize after doing racetracks over the North Sea. Not much info on FR24, but presumably tanking? Spotted in the flesh from Lidl car park with my daughter, who demanded we look at the plane on my 'phone!
