Interesting aircraft - what have you seen on your computer today?
'Something' flew over my house (Essex, just inside the M25) at 15:00 today. South to north, low and loud, caught the briefest glimpse and it looked like a Buccaneer. Nothing on FR24. Any ideas?
Edit: I realise I have not given much information but I am guessing that someone out there will know of an airshow or something at which the mystery plane will have appeared.

There's a MiG 15 about, maybe returning to Duxford or North Weald from Eastbourne show? There's no Buccan 'ere... not flying anyway.
Just had a Midget Mustang within earshot, was in the woods and unable to eyeball!

Both North Weald and Duxford are in a more or less straight line from my abode so I'd say you nailed it.

All-in-all, nice change from Cherokees and DA40/42/62.

Just had a visit by the Grace Spitfire - seems to have routed Sywell, Duxford, North Weald, Biggin, north of Kenley (Surrey Hills GC should be active today), Wisley, my mate in Woking, Blackbushe next...
Yesterday evening I heard the now familiar noise of a Hercules (Canadian) some distance away (Tunbridge Wells) at 20,000 ft, Confirmed by ADS B
I have just heard the noise of a Hercules (Polish) some even further away (Tonbridge) at 20,000 ft, Confirmed by ADS B, it wasn't exactly quiet either!
It seems that you don't realy need radar for locating the Herc, just the Mk 1 EarHole. If you placed three people say a mile apart, you could triangulate the sound and that should be good enough to launch a SAM
I though the Canadian one yesterday might have been going to St Athan for maintenance, but has it got close to Brize it did one of those Khe Sanh Approaches and landed at Brize. I suspect the Poles are about to do the same thing
Edited to add - The Poles are doing a Khe Sanh into Brize. Practice for supplying forward air strips in Eastern Europe???

Just caught a fleeting image this morning 11-ish of a Spit (might have been Hurricane) over the carpark in Henley.
Literally 1 second view and it was gone....
