Lancaster PA474 buzzed overhead a few minutes ago, I was unfortunately in the middle of reversing into my drive so just heard it, not seen!
Wife saw it, it's buzzing around Oxford at the moment.

Heading due East now towards Leighton Buzzard at 775ft. Going home?

No idea, but that would be glorious to see and hear of that there's little doubt. It's been several years since I did and about time for another dose.

Not seen on my computer, but with Mk 1 eyeball on the ground.

Driving up the M11 motorway past Duxford, what looked like a BAe146/RJ on the ground there, standing in front of the big hangar. All white livery. Only got a fleeting glimpse. Any idea what it is and why ...

I’d imagine some kind of Operation Manna memorial flypast?

Was it not on a past Operation Manna commemoration that the Lanc got a major engine failure and put into Schipol on three ?

Everyone fell over double backwards to help and provide support. KLM put them in a hangar, all around provided equipment. Not a single invoice was sent.

New Zealand AF C-130H into Brize yesterday, followed by a couple of Apaches enroute Middle Wallop (or nearby) to Wattisham clattering overhead. No other bugger was looking up at our brave lads disturbing the south London peace! Just noted DH-60 G-ACGZ following the M25 eastward south of Biggin. This has the inverted Gipsy and I think is a Moth Major, a final step or two before the DH-82!

Looks like it was bound for Headcorn from its base just up the road at White Waltham. Must be one of the oldest aircraft (1933) to be equipped with ADS-B.

At the speed it was going, most of the eastbound traffic on the M25 will have been overtaking it.

Not with the average speed cameras now festooning the gantries along some of that stretch - or at least, I've not had the nerve to put them to the test!

Did anybody else hear/see the wonderful tones of the AN-12 that went WNW to ESE over London around 3pm local today ? A Ukrainian from CAVOK it would seem.

Q: What's better than listening to a Spitfire taking off from Biggin Hill while walking through Selsdon Woods?

A: listening to two Spitfires taking off etc...

...and not only is G-ACGZ visible airborne from Headcorn, Puss Moth G-AAZP can also be seen floating about over Kent.

Even thought it is slow G-ACGZ certainly does get used I have seen it at Fishburn airfield in country Durham and Ragley Hall near Coventry for the Midlands Air show in recent years.

heard a large radial passing overhead Tottenham a few minutes ago. By the time I got outside, tiny spec in distance - looked like a Lysander!
If I hadn't heard it, could have been almost any high-wing fixed u/c single, but was definitely a radial. Any guesses?

Meridian Ukraine Antonov 12 UR-CIC operated across London heading NW just now, at altitude but audible, as ever, from the ground. Currently seems to be operating from Rzeszow (spelling ? and pronunciation ?), Poland, near the Ukraine border. Much reduced Antonovs currently, but not gone.

Seems to have dogleg-routed to pass directly over Treadders' house
