Right now on FR24, Boeing 727 M-STAR from LeBourget to Lasham.
Can anyone in the know tell us the purpose of the journey?

Both loud enough to drown out the very loud Reggae music in Electric Avenue, Brixton. I was the only saddo looking up and checking on the phone.

As to M-STAR, I 'think' that Lasham is the only Mx option for B727's this side of the Atlantic nowadays.

Nice, just rinsing my paint roller outside and was treated to a flypast by the other new-build 2-seat Spit, BS410/G-TCHI. On its way back to Biggin from Lee-on-Solent by the looks of it.

I think Lasham may have the only 727 licenced MRO engineers left in Europe. I wonder if anyone is left there from Dan-Air 727 days.

A fair number of the 727s that have landed at Lasham in the last few years have never left again.

I see the Bulgarians are sending us vintage A320s this year. LZ-LAC appeared at Teesside now 30 years old.

M-STAR is a regular 'ish' visitor to Lasham, hope she continues operating as bit of a soft spot for her as she spent a fair bit of time in DWC over the last 10+ years.

C-5M just headed south-westwards over the top, 83-1285... Got a brief glimpse through the fluffy stuff, looked a lot lower than the reported 32000'! See it was the first C-5B off the reopened production line, first flight in 1985.

1: I saw M-STAR depart Stanstead back in March. She looks gorgeous in that executive sheme!
2: At the other end of the spectrum, a Grob 109 just puttered overhead homeplate here in Norfolk. At least someone can make them fly, even if the Air Cadets can't......

Exit stage right to dig slit trench in the garden........

Here comes another Galaxy, SW across London - have the passing showers passed sufficiently to view this behemoth?

They had, lovely view!

By chance I noticed it coming, by chance it turned over London heading towards the Atlantic....and by chance the clouds zipped together, turned dark grey and emptied their soggy contents serenaded by thunder and lightning.........

Lucky you!
