First, congratulations on your new job!
I am French too and have been invited for an interview on the 30th of April, do you remember some of the ATPL technical questions they asked?
Thanks a lot and hopefully meet you soon!

Very straight forward interview. Standard stuff about yourself and what youve been doing. Why you want to work in India and do you think you could handle it...
Tech questions.... When to start a descent from FL350. Whats V1, VMBE, V2 etc Content of a position report and a mayday call. A scenario drawn on the white board, of an aircraft in flight with a cabin fire and the captains lost the plot, what actions would you take if your destination airport is 10 mins away but Cat 3 only and not good enough wx for normal approach and your not certified but have done the training and your diversion is 40 mins away..... Another scenario of if the captains ignoring you on the flight deck and tells you to shut up... what would you do...
Thats about all I can remember

Have any of you applying in for these program places had any briefing or explanation regarding at what point and how long into the contract it will be before you handle the aircraft for take off and landing?
Has anyone mentioned the '300 hour check' which, due to many factors, can occur several hundred hours late? Will you be subject to it?
Have you been told at what point you will not be accompanied by a safety pilot in the third seat?
Have the promoters discussed who flies the aircraft during the monsoon season?
There are a combination of DGCA and company rules that will have a very significant impact on your future employment prospects in the industry if you have no previous turbo jet/turbine experience. Is the European flying going to bypass these requirements or will you start all over again?
Recruiters for companies in your future know all about this - your posts suggest you don't.
If you are puzzled by my questions you really, really should be asking them yourselves before entering any committment.
Regards
Rob

medical check for expat pilot
Hi all -
Does anybody work for Jet Airways as an expat or has any clue on the following matter: I would like to know whether, as an expat, you have to go thru a medical check upon your arrival in India, or if having a valid JAA class 1 medical is satisfying enough for the company?
Thanks in advance!

Thats enough. Keep your JAA medical and your licence current. Indian DGCA needs you to do a medical once every 6 months, irrespective of your age.
You do not need to do an Indian medical

I have a few questions about JetAirways, and please only answer if you KNOW it, thank you.
Is it true that a FO wont be allowed to fly the ac below 1000 feet until he has 1000 hours on type..
Is the roster 6/1 for 8 weeks, and then 2 weeks off?
Any info on living situation if you bring your wife? Do they help (or pay) for an apartment thats not shared?
How long is the wait from interview to training, and again from tarining to linetraining in Turkey.
Thank You

everytime you do your six monthly medical, whether jaa or icao, or whatever,
the company will take a scanned copy of it. so, you keep your home licence current and they keep your indian validation going. everyone is happy.
again, no indian medical required.
