@bhambri

ATR- Has no orders/deliveries from any indian airline for some time to come. Not many jobs too.

I did my ATR rating six months ago and am still waiting for a response from any airline.
Air India Regional came up with vacancies, but is usually all rigged. I wish I had done an A320/B737 Type Rating back then.

what i have heard is indigo is going to recruit more then 150 type rated guys by end of this year. Is it true?

What do you suggest. Should go 320 or 737?

Spice currently have lots of adverts about for expat Q400 pilots both Captain and FO (FO's now being allowed again as per the new CAR brought into force 12/10)

So not sure just how many jobs there will be for people with a green licence, forged or otherwise!

Dgca mess

Hey guys

DGCA issues stricter rules for hiring of co-pilots | Aviation India: Careers

I know this is outa context but i had to put it up. Go through it and please lets every1 here know if u have an idea abt it.

" If a CPL licence holder does not fly for two years, the licence stands cancelled automatically."

Does this apply to we guys already having indian licenses or for the new comers??

THE MIR

I think the author of that article has made a mistake. I htink he is talking about ATPL and not CPL.

For your reference.

All iz well

Of course the reporter is not an aviation regulator and does not exactly know what he is talking about because he is just a journalist. There is no term for a license to be CANCELLED (unless we do something seriously wrong). Licenses get expired if I am not wrong. The only thing which matter to us is a ‘Flight Review’.
And if he is pointing towards the flight review then there many ways to get through this hurdle.

Keep up the good hopes.

Regards to all

My way of searching for a vacancy in India

Hi everybody,
Check out www.civilaviation.nic.in . go to their new and updated section . click on more and you will come across links to
150 aircraft acquisitions committee e.g. . http://civilaviation.nic.in/150th%20...20decision.pdf .
It basically gives information about companies who are buying an aircraft .
The best part is that they also give contact details and email addresses .
I personally got interviewed by seven such companies,by this process, after sending my resume and contact details to the companies of my choice.
Hope to get lucky because if I do , atleast few pilots will get jobs without selling our souls to Airlines.
Any suggestions to improvise is most welcome.
Cheers
Siddharth Sharan.
