Thanks Joseph. Its just the start but at least it's been positive so far!
Shuaige5, according to SIA, I'm probably joining the June or July course. When did you have your 2nd interview?

Guys, do not get too bothered about the old and new system. Even with the old system, it does not really get updated other than the first application. Instead keep a lookout in your email including the Junk folder, at times it end up inside there! Or if you have an iphone, set your email to refresh after 30mins (Suggested by Neraz)!
Stay positive and prepare yourself well for the interview!
Congrats to those guys who have gotten through and do keep yourself fit for OBS. It will be one hell of an experience! Enjoy the journey!
All the best to those heading for interview!
Cheers

Cadet training and NS reservist ICT
Hi all, does anybody know if Singaporean cadet pilots have the right to defer NS in-camp training (ICT) during their course?
ICT means 2 weeks (+-) away from lessons and that does not sound good, given that the examinations are critical in passing the course.

to chteo:
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, glad to be part of it cos i'm a pilot wannabe just like you guys.
Been reading this forum for a while, yet to submit my application to SIA cos i'm still juggling with my current job. I'm working overseas in China which is why it takes more planning on my part to do my job-switch, if I can get through the interviews!
chteo & shuaige5:
1) congrats for getting through the interviews! may i know how long it took to get your 1st interview after sending in ur application?

@Joe, I am still a distance away from the 172 not to mention the Baron! In the midst of clearing the ATPL papers due in May man! How about yourself?
@Chteo : Dude, do not worry, you will get exemption from NS ICT/IPPT for the next 2 years. Sounds good ey!
@Benny : Go for it. I applied while I was away and came back twice for the interview as well. Well the response as Joe mentioned vary, it could be really quick within hours to within a week or 2 man.

purplehearts : yup i did.
To all those who have "application" status, do let's continue to update each other here if there are any updates to our status.
If I'm not wrong, I think my status changed from empty to "application" only yesterday.
