I am not asking to be respected just becos of being a pilot. But I mean wannabes who are humble enough to ask politely and thank for every answer. Not just to come to forum and keep asking and speculating!

And calling people **** is certainly unbecoming and disrespectful for these wannabes who may not even know how to drive!

Even qualified pilots who ask about DEC positions in SQ ask in this forum politely, just see the thread in SIA DEC. These are qualifed captains and they do give due respect to whoever they are directing questions to!

"I do not assume as asumming will "make a ass out of you and me"... factual information only. Read my previous postings and you will know why.

hope you guys here go do some read up on all threads prior to asking and waiting for people to spoon feed the answers to you guys."

Now how about that folks? Whom is he spoon feeding? He is not doing any favour to anyone being a part of this forum. The motive of this forum is to share the informations we have, no matter howsoever little it might be. N how abt "make a as....". I just did not like the way he presented himself.

Moreover guys, if you read closely what I had posted, I did not call him a "****", I said, I may go through all of his previous threads with patience and then finally figure out to be of no use.

sq111, I wish someone drills some logic into your head.

I would definitely apologise from airbus_380 only if he accepts that his presentability was also unpleasant. I'm sorry, but I fail to understand why guys from Singapore are going crazy over my last post?

Well, I also fail to understand why you wannabes cant do a simple search and also go crazy over a missing application? Or make some speculative comments.

Drill something into my head? oh pur...lease...... Nobody owes u a living.

Can't be bothered with u immature wannabes anymore. I am out of here.... I have helped many people answer their queries before in the past and I have nothing to prove.

@metallicwings

..no good amigo..!!

please maintain the decorum of the forum..!! and sq111 and airbus do contribute a lot here.. do read previous posting and think before you right ..

and considering your posts i make out that you are not a pilot as yet I may be wrong... then let me tell you Pilots not just fly the airplane from point A to B.. if you get selected as a cadet some years down the line you would be the face of Singapore airlines when you walk in front of the waiting passengers.. and your attitude and behavior does matter a lot then.... I hope you understand what I am trying to say here..

and Please you cannot get selected with this attitude.. be 1000% sure about that..

I request you to please improve and maintain the decorum.

All wannabes who are writing in concern with the SIA Indian program please direct your posts over here : http://www.pprune.org/south-asia-far...ts-2008-a.html

hi there,

i said that i never "assume" as "assume = making a ASS of U n ME" READ THE CAPS!. I hope to only shed information which are factual, and i was call a **** liar whom is boastful. well, thanks to all of you as well as the group of "candidates" at the other thread, shouting and making a big matter of such requirements. I will definetly feedback about the application written up as100% concise for the overseas recruitment 3 or 4 full page with fine prints advertisment ads. Thanks for the tips and making us improve.

SWIMMING IS A MUST! yes i will also feedback to throw you guys into the pool and make you swim a few laps to ensure all can swim. since we got a big pool at our facilities.

What i meant by another application form is referred to the written form (NOT ONLINE) IF YOU ATTEND THE 1st INTERVIEW. that will indicate the subsequent requirements and checklist SQ will need to assess candidates.

god dam it... i ask that metallicwings to read the threads pertaining to CADETSHIP ETC and do not keep asking where answers are already posted. Is he poor in english or am i poor at typing.

anyway i do not give a dam for that havoctic issues he created as I been through and done that path many years back perhaps when his still a young boy. Being appreciative doesnt help. that ediot would just wan people to tell him that swimming is not a criteria. (the 21 days OBS prior to flying will determine your swimming ability eddiot).

end of the day young man, you will still not make it through even if you got an interview which i doubt it will happen. and yes. i will ensure my feedback on this issue gets to the respective personnel doing the interviews a INDIA.

great way to fly

airbus 380

no worries about swimming. even they somehow make it through the interviews, and offered a contract and sign thinking that finally they qualified for flight training in SFC, then go OBS..... when it comes to swimming, that is where all their dreams will end. Dun even need to throw them to STC pool.

With ETOPS getting so common, wonder how these people think swimming is not a requirement???? Din they know ETOPS means Engines Turn Or Pilots Swim?????

Well, ETOPS doesnt refer to over water only for sure. It refers to single-engine flight times between diversion airfields—regardless as to whether such fields are separated by water or land.

about the swimming requirement.

hi all,

about the swimming part, they would probably ask u if u can swim a certain distance with a flotation device of some sort, which anyone can unless u have hydrophobia.

so no worries for all the 'army-divers' wannabes. show positive attitude and good personality and your chances of getting selected wld be high.

Rejection ???

My question might sound very trivial but I will appreciate if somebody can help me with that ....SIA has put pn its website that they wont be informing us of rejection but would the status of our application show that it has been already reviewed or will it always show "job application" for thet whole 120 days ??? Thanks in advance
