never had anyone take control whilst flying but did have a pax once remove his seat belt to lift the cap off a cold beer....:eek:

but pax did the right thing for me and put seat belt back on...

i have worked/still do in tourism flying helicopters alongside a pilot who always wore a helmet on a tourist flight and he continually got asked - why are you wearing a helment? is this dangerous?...

not too sure how many operators out there would pay insurance without their pilots flying...

from a pretty reliable source, R44's start round $700 per engine hour and go up from there. hope this helps...:confused:
