Hi All

Could someone possibly tell me if there is a FAA examination testing centre outside the U.S? Possibly in the UAE or U.K?

Oryx crash

Just heard of an Oryx that crashed in the Frees State on the Lesotho border. 14 SAPS members and 5 SAAF officers, according to News24.com. Not known if there are any fatalities. Let's hope not.

In S.A, Engine Failure in the Hover gets handled in Ex 15 (emergencies) BEFORE initial solo (ex 16). The student usually have between 15 and 25 hours, NOT 40.

But as some have said, maybe this guy...

A lot of flying, socialising:cool: and a weekend enjoyed by all. I believe there were something like 13 or 14 helicopters ranging from R22 to a Bell 47...
