you leave the gear down when the brake is...

you leave the gear down when the brake is deactivated till the wheel stops (2 mins) as the wheel acts as a jyro and will put wear on the undercarriage because of the strain of moving the wheel...

the D.H.L. A300s have a counter built in to the APU , they do not start after landing then they only one APU start for engine start and there for reduse there starts by 50%. saving mony on maint.

the 138B was i think the fastest of the 707s .cruise tables went to .87m and emergency decent .95M
This was the type British Eagle and later Laker used on the Atlantic.

you are right the Bo.767 will only take 1 pallet 125/88 and the other has to be a size that fits nothing else
the hold is about 1.75 the width of the A300/D.C.10/M.D.11
