Canberra over Malvern ?

Did my eyes deceive me or did I see a Canberra and Hunter over Malvern today doing figure of 8s ?

Probably Midair's Canberra PR9 plus one of their Hunters practising for the season. They are based at Kemble.

As Malvern houses a radar research station, could it not be associated with that (if there's still a Canberra operated by DPA that is)

Yup,


One and a bit PR.9s over/in Worcestershire about 13.20 hrs today.


XH134 on way back from Cosford overflew the mortal remains of XH175 as I was freeing up the nav seat power adjustment.


Had to stop and watch the pair as they went south following the A449. Lovely sight to see one in the air again.

Yep, fantastic display from both the Canberra and the Hunter at Cosford today. I think the Hunter was my "plane of the show"!
