Maximum Rates of Descent

In a previous company I recall being advised that when flying a Precision Approach the maximum ROD was 1200fpm & for a Non-Precision Approach it was 1700fpm....

I read somewhere (cant find it now) that the B777 is the same as the B757/767 & that the latest height the ASA must have annunciated an ASA status (Albeit LAND3/2 or No Autoland) is 600'...

During the lifetime of the "C" Engine a/c at BA thay had 1600 documented fumes incidents across all fleets - 96% of them were on the 757......whinging drama queens-the lot of them!!:ugh:
