I am being offered a set of telex 850. I fly jets day in and out using older 750, with no cancelling system. Can anyone recommend or not these ANRīs for jets? Any suggestions?

Got talking to a young friend that is really keen on becoming an ATC. Hes done some decent flying, but preferrs to fly privately and considers a career in ATC would be his cake.
