Meat Bomb Navajo going for hat trick
Rumour has it that the Navajo that recently skidded it's way to a halt on it's belly at Jandakot is now lying amongst the bushes short of the runway at Murray Field.
Pilot apparently declared mayday from height over Pinjarra / Mandurah area.
No serious injuries reported

Not much more to say other then this company is one of the worst ive seen in the area.
And without spectulating to the course of the prang, anyone whos seen this operation would have realised how dodge it really is.

Gyro, while I was there we operated safely and within the law. It was up to the pilots to do the right thing. I maintained a professional attitude and had no incidents during my time there. Maybe things have deteriorated since I left?
The aircraft have always been well maintained, so I never had any issues flying them with the public on board.
I do believe that having more experienced pilots who are paid a fair wage would improve any declining standards. I think I was the last pilot there who actually got paid something (and it wasn't easy to live on).

Oh, oh...Do ya know who was on the sticks? In my judgement it was always a borderline op. Not necesarily safe or unsafe... Yes it depends on the pilots flying and not putting up with risky pressure, but that is not how a public-carrying operation should be run. Safety shoud come from the top, not the bottom!!! Hope nobody was hurt.

The two pilots on board were ok, just a bit shaken.
NK
They didn't look too shaken grinning for The Sunday Times for a picture captioned "...before the flight". Either they were both very, very tall, stnding on a box or that Navajo was resting on its nose BEFORE the flight. Background was v. similar to the "Crash landing" picture too! Bizarre.
Mayday call made on Jandakot RW 24L frequency. Why? Did he think he was on the Murryfield CTAF? Didn't reply to the Jandakot controller who acknowleged his Mayday. Another aircraft doing circuits at YMUL was completely unaware that the Navajo had done a forced landing about 1km from the threshold.
Glad all are OK.

operating standards aside...proffesionalism is about attitude and appearance, needless to say the pilot didnt look very proffesional in his civies.
Very strange that the PRE flt foto seemed to have the same background as the post flt crash scene. I assumed that it was a post flt foto, it wasnt until i read the caption where it was claimed to be pre flight
