7.5% of our pilots are now working their notice...

7.5% of our pilots are now working their notice and 2.5% are in holding pool for other airlines. In the next 4 months we will need 120 pilots to keep up with those leaving and we are down 30 pilots...

EJ were trying to get the CAA to increase the limit above 900 per year as 90% of the pilots at Luton and Newcastle are at the limit.

5.2.5.4 seems to only be working in the small bases eg. GLA...

Luton are maxed out duty and flight time, but that was always the plan, then bring in the crew from the bases that dont fly as much even with the nightstopped it still cost less than having crew...

The days of a quick move to the LHS are over.eJ has over 600 FO's with at least 200-300 ready to move to the LHS. Even at 100 movements a year thats 3 years and by then another 200-300 will be ready...

Yes there will always be plenty of low time people out there waiting for a job and ej But EJ is already having a hard time getting pilots min requirement lowered from 1500Hr to 500Hr....
