i got both books and been to the EK interview. must say Capt XYZ is the better book ( to help you pass). the other emirates interview is more helpful after you get the job.
thats my 2 cents..

day 1 as per above( student indebt) shrink tests that you cant really study for. the reasoning one is difficult....
