I thought we were told earlier that the SAA fleet was too old to compete (puke) and that more modern aircraft were a necessity. Had to get rid of the junker B737-800's and get those better perfoming...

I'm wondering why a Civil Aviation Authority would even issue and AOC to anyone (can't call them an airline) without ALL proper manuals. Makes me wonder what other regs zambia let them skip on.

I recently spoke with a well known (notorious?) DC-9 RSA pilot who said that the DC-9 can carry 6 tons in the belly and they regularly do. I don't know the aircraft but this seems a bit far-fetched....
