Anybody know why Transair have stopped selling Jepp VFR charts? A right pain as it was handy popping into Fairoaks to pick them up.

At the mo it's difficult to get the examiners over here to do the checkride.

You'll probably have to go to the US.

All the TSA fingerprinting etc, counts over here as well as the US. It's FAA...

Why not do your BFR in the UK? Then go and hire in the US. No need to get the TSA involved.

I passed my US Commercial IR checkride in June 2004. It took the whole time the temp licence was valid for(120 days) to get my proper credit card style one. Almost to the day.

It depends on which Cirrus type and which POH you are talking about regarding speeds etc for the CAPS.

The SR20 is 135kts and the SR22 is 133kts. So ok I got the Seat G wrong by one G, big...

1,The FAA pulled the authorisation for an FAA Instructor or any Instructor to perform flight training in a G reg aircraft in the UK....
