Single engine ops
Hi!
It seems that the light twin era will be over in a mid/short term. From the little information and knowledge i have i see that there are few twins new in the market, not as it used to be in the 80's with all that Cessnas, Pipers, Beechs,... Now the most spread light travellers are singles (malibus, tbms, pc12s).
I think we all feel that 2 engines are safer but... on the other side not too many engines fail as to think of that, at least after knowing real data about Spanish incidents/accidents.
I'm sorry to cut the original thread but all this came to my mind and i would like to know your opinion about the issue.
What do you think about IFR and Night time single ops?
And i would love also to know about any eng fail experience any of you had, so it could prevent us from doing something wrong handling an emergency.
Thanks!!!!!!
Pablo
