Ops normal on a Q400! I wonder if there was a mis interpretation in the cabin though? Normally a loss of one hyd system wouldn't result in a runway excursion.

Brasov IS28M2a, they could be aerobat reasonably well. Not sure on the glide ratio though, always looked/felt heavy to me.

It would sound like a PSEU or harness problem, the loss of signal causing the doors to open and then once starts to open the logic senses something is wrong and the doors shut.
