Come on all you 777 experts, what downtime does it take your airline to carryout a normal 777 engine chg.

Preferably at your own maintenance facility including post ground runs.

Apparantly aircraft left LHR and soon after take off it was discovered bags were on board of pax who was flying to HKG
with BA and not CX.

Returned about 4hrs out.

Jack was placed under wing, at this point it was then determined jack was un servicable.

Cool Expat Ground Engineers Viewpoint

We have no union, we work 12hr shifts,
Most months exceeding 200hrs a month. Lucky if we get a 45min break in our shifts.

Thought of a crew rest area would be a dream..We get a crew room with...
