Hi,

When in Alt or Alt CRZ mode on the A320, will the A/P regain altitude if it deviated from the alt due to eg. turbulence?

Eg. FL 350, and hit turb and it deviated say -300 ft to fl 347.

Is it required to check the serviceability of the autoland light (red flashing light) prior to conducting an autoland?

I've flown with a captain that says it is required....but I was never taught...

I'm not sure if I read it somewhere. I seemed to remember it burns more fuel rather than saving but like everyone said, the engine wear is the whole point of flex take off.

Does anyone know why the reset for Tcas Computer are to be performed on ground only ( QRH computer resets tables ) ?

I turn them on one at a time and look for the "on bat" light on then off before turning the other adiru on. why? i really dunno....

Someone told me that its to check that the adiru can be powered...
