UKOMA Course

Hi all,

Just wondered if anybody has recently completed the UKOMA course?. I believe the last one was in March this year.

I think the best bet would be trying to do a season with a ground handler, Swissport, Servisair, Menzies etc.

Im not sure airlines do six month placements as such?.

ive not been involved in ground handling dispatch for a while now, but the best way to tell was to look in the staff car park, look at the hardware the rampies drive to work compared to pax handling...

Hi, I believe most would - possibly. I would imagine you would need to complete the season (with the likes of Thomas Cook, Thompson etc) and then get a perm contract and then request to go part time....
