This is getting ridiculous. 3 months and no reply or follow up of any kind. I thought the UK were short staffed. Obviously not short staffed enough to bother replying to applicants.

I think I found the answer to that. You can apply using the skilled worker rules. NATS is on the list of approved sponsors. These rules no not specify nationality of applicant.

QR atco recruitment

I’ve been hearing some rumors about Qatar recruiting ATCOs to prepare for the 2022 World Cup.
The rumor is 18 month contracts with 25000$ pr month. Is there any truth to this?

The change from local QNH and SAS 1013 and vice versa should take place in the transition layer, between transition altitude and TL. This is to ensure that all AC will be on same altimeter settings....

But wouldnt you agree that it is alot easier to include wind when issuing takeoff clearance instead of checking the ATIS and comparing it to the current wind. And i think the pilots would be alot...

Do all towers include surfacewind when issuing the take-off clearance?
