CEO is Daniel Lundberg, former vice CEO and AM of MCA Airlines, whom overtook Air Express in june 2009 and eventually ended up in bankrupcy in november the same year.

He was also involved in Air Sweden for a while (also bankprupt) and later on the CEO of never-to-be-airborne airline Moose Aviation.

I would stay well clear of this outfit. Funding your own type rating is usually not a great deal, but with these guys involved it's a sure looser. I would be sceptical in a bonding arrangement as well as you never know when you're base will change from southern Norway to northern Iraq...

They mention own pilots in an article on Flygtorget.se so I would suppose recruitment will start eventually. If I were unemployed, I would only consider this if the rating was paid for by the company, but even then I would be very sceptical. Leaving any position for these guys wouldn't cross my mind, no matter what terms and conditions they'd offer.

Aah come on, I have worked with Daniel and he is very good, he was never CEO of MCA, which was a one-man show from the person who was, neither was he CEO of Air Sweden when that closed, he left more than a year before that, he saved that company during his presence there.

Unless he hurt your feelings at some point, at least come with correct facts.

It looks like an interesting project, lets ses what they can accomplish.

Det här verkar ju vara ett nytt luftslott precis som Good Jet, FlyMe, City Jet, Color Air....
Men kom ihåg att nästan alla dömde ut Mr BK och hans DY 2002 oxå. Vad gäller Mr DL så är det väl inte så konstigt att han har en del konkurser bakom sig, han är ju i flygbranschen och då är det nästan oundvikligt om man inte får förtäckt stöd i form av nyemisioner hela tiden förstås

Nej, jag har aldrig påstått att Lundberg var VD på MCA heller. Han var vice VD och Accountable Manager mot Transportstyrelsen.

Det är möjligt att VDn var den som bestämde allt och men Lundberg var den som skötte den dagliga driften och som förhandlade med kunder, leverantörer, personal m.m. Lundberg gav inte ett pålitligt intryck och var i mitt tycke inte kompetent nog att ha den position han hade.

MCA-konkursen lämnade leverantörer och andra med över 40 miljoner SEK i fordringar. Kanske inte särskilt anmärkningsvärt i flygbranschen egentligen, det anmärkningsvärda borde väl vara att koncernen saknade all dokumentation som krävs enligt bokföringslagen och att 3 miljoner kronor försvann ur företaget kort innan konkursen (källa: Konkursförvaltarens förvaltningsberättelse, finns hos Attunda Tingsrätt).

Du kommenterade inte heller projektet SMA Aviation (Moose) som aldrig kom i luften utan lämnade personalen med brutna löften om att "lönen kommer snart".

Att nu flyga EMB-170 i Norge via Denim Air (som idag inte opererar typen) känns som ett högriskprojekt deluxe. Att kalla sig flygbolag när man dessutom bara är en resebyrå talar ju också sitt tydliga språk, även om det finns gott om exempel på dessa nuförtiden...

Det finns ju de som fortsätter att döma ut DY också. Aktieägarna som i många omgångar tillfört kapital har ju ännu inte sett någon avkastning på sitt kapital i form av utdelning. Är DY månne det största luftslottet av dem alla?

Den röda tråden i de projekt som DL varit inblandad i är att det "finns investorer med mycket kapital" som bara väntar på att få finansiera de projekten... Märkligt att det trots det aldrig lyckas bli någonting av det...

An FG Pro article today claims the airline "has selected the Embraer 190 twinjet for its operation, which will launch from Kristiansand in April next year. The carrier will lease the Embraer, configured in a single-class arrangement with 100 seats, from a third party, says the Brazilian airframer."

Any ideas who the lease may be with?
