Where does this sentence fit in??? This is weather related, an act of god! Could just as well have been LHR, where 30 to 40min delays isn't unusual, infact alot of the time...

Not true at all, their Dash8s and CRJ mix would probably have one of the youngest average age.
Infact the 2 Dash 8Q400s they use...

I'm amazed nobody makes remarks about the fact that this happened on the first day without 747 in the SAA fleet...maybe the pilot was just trying to make a statement!!!

In the end the airport taxes is also just cheaper if you fly FROM lanseria, NOT TO lanseria, because the advertised taxes from CPT-JNB is R52 as well as CPT-HLA. But hey, kulula is clever to show us...

If Kulula would be doing the flights, I'd believe that Stansted would be the best choice. That way one can connect to cheap Ryanair, Air Berlin and all the other low-cost carriers there, to mainland...

Yes, the BFN-GRJ route is only 1 weekly though, flying down on a Friday evening and back on Sunday afternoon. The J-41 is parked at GRJ then for most of the weekend, just doing a GRJ-CPT-GRJ...
