Probably nobody at the moment...I hear the GCAA are about to put the brakes on because everybody in management that knew anything about flying airplanes has left. They are advertising for an A300B4...

Midex Cargo T&C

For those looking for information on Midex Cargo A300B4 operation.

It is a start-up. Base is Al Ain in the UAE 1 hour from Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Flying will be to Mumbai, Dacca, Cochin, Karachi,...

I have no personal knowledge here but I assume that ALPA contracts require an age 60 retirement so it may still be a few years until the age 65 rule fully takes affect.

Nothing to back it up. Just word of mouth from an IndiGO expat Captain. Same with the plan to go international...just word of mouth. Whatever that is worth? It is all a crap shoot for pilots in this...

I have heard from company pilots that IndiGO has delivery dates for A330s. And I have also heard they plan to go international which they could do with A320/321.

I think there is a 5 year wait...

i think another 6 months and the SO program will start working for a lucky few. and last for a few years. Indogo/simcenter has a hard enough time getting high time guys into the program right...

Read between the lines

For PICs/DECs IndiGO, Jet, Kingfisher seem to be lowering but I'm guessing will with stay with 300/500 PIC officially. They are all parking airplanes for lack of crews.

There is a company called Midex with 6 cargo A300B4s (bought from Express.net) in Abu Dhabi. I hear they are about to start up once the planes get out of mx and operate out of Al Ain.

What type of PIC time and type rating do you have? I am thinking about the KAL job but I am not familiar with the FO requirements. I believe they reguire a 744, 777, 330 or 738...
