Just to get it straight.
Level 6 does not mean native speaker.

It does however mean that once tested and passed at level 6 that the language standard will be the same 150 years or even only 20...

skyguide training (success or failure rate) is about 50% from beginning to end of their training, which lasts just over 3 years.
training school success rate is very good and equal to any other...

Shortage of ATCO instructors at training centers

Throughout Europe ATC training centers are looking for instructors to fill vacant positions.

Germany looks like it needs 19 !!!; Entry Point North needs trainers; so do the Suisse; etc, etc.

In Zürich the Swiss have been usīng electronic strips in the tower and approach departure environment since about 1992 or 93.

Paper strips are still used in Geneva in coloured holders.
