$313 dollars to CAA NZ prior to seeing the doctor.

$460 for Doctor , had ECG and bloods this yr so a bit more than usual.

Talk to Peter at Wanaka.

Cheaper than ZQN with the same mountains just 15 mins flight away , cheaper landing fees and no ATC to deal with.

Does a number of Conversions for overseas pilots.

All that advantages of flying in and around the mountains, but it would save you a lot of money on airways and airports charges that flying in Queenstown would cost you.

I think that NZ is a little stuffed up due to the student loans , with some training outfits seeing it as a easy way to add in large "admin fees" or "internships"...
