Engine vibration monitor

On the 737, what does the engine vibration monitor monitor?
And why does it go from zero to 4.0 and not from 0-10 or zero to 100%?
Do the numbers represent anything? I remember reading about MILS...

The track pointer on the NG PFD has a mark perpendicular to the line, whereas the MAX has only a straight line.
One pilot I was flying with mentioned that someone said that the tick mark on the NG...

As far as the USA goes, 121 carrier that enters the traffic pattern with the control tower closed.
Do all turns need to be made to the left?

The B737 QRH does not address the landing gear position in a ditching at all, but mentions twice to make sure that the autobrake is selected OFF.
Does anyone know why and what about the landing gear...

Our company just approved the ForeFlight app as a backup to the JeppFD-Pro.
One nifty thing in the ForeFlight app is a "Glide Setting"
You put in the best glide speed and the airplane glide ratio...

Edited descend speed off by one knot!

Why is it that when I edit the descend speed from ECON to 300, sometimes one side, sometimes both sides show the new FMC speed as 299 above the speed tape in the PFD.
I know pushing speed intervene...

Does anyone know why I always seem to get into some sort of lateral PIO when landing F40.
I read somewhere that an extra roll spoiler unlocks with F40 vs F30.

So you are at the gate, APU is off and there is no conditioned air connected.
You are doing a 40 minute turn and don't plan on using any air until you start the APU about 5 prior to push time.

Here the scenario:

Flight plan filed is at FL360 on a 5hr flight plan. There are two step climbs later to FL 380 and 400.

I always put the filed flight level (FL360) into the overhead cruise...
