Adventures in West Africa

Especially for SASLESS and those who understand. The country where helicopters rarely return from... a 180nm by 180nm death trap. More fun and games and a largely frustrating but seriously rewarding experience.

Croatia

Are you flying for the police in Croatia or the army? If for the police where are Dorijan and Sinisa?

Bk117c1

I should have phrased this differently...I agree that BK 117C1 is a good aircraft. However, for those who remember will agree that the operation was a disaster.

A few from Mexico City

On most of the police helicopter photos where you see a pilot, it's me flying, complicated fleet, AS350B3, AS355F2 and N, Bell 206JR and L4, Bell 412, and I also fly an A109E. It's not too uncommon to fly 4 or 5 different types around here in a day.
