SAR West Wales on Saturday

Pottering down the Welsh coast this Saturday we came across what I presume was a training exercise north of West Wales (Aberporth) airport. Here are a couple of shots taken by Cyclicchick as we passed by. If you were involved and would like a copy of the original, please PM me.

Surely you don't grow those things in Iceland?
the genetics of the crop seems questionable;
and most importantly;
how far away is the farmer with his salt petre?
cheers tet

Nope, not a pilot. Was a Flight Mechanic in the Coast Guard for 12 years and an Army Crew Chief for 8 years prior to that.

Unfortunately, I didn't take the camera along nearly enough.

Thanks for the welcome, I'll try to find so more pictures to post in the future.

Thumbs up

Akitomo:
very nice work with your New Ray Maryland AS365 model. You inspired me, so I bought one of my own. May I humbly inquire as to how you fabricated the main landing gear? And you opened the gear doors?

Slingyerhook,

Nice piccies, which company is that?

I really really want to fly in Scotland but I just can't take the time off to do the conversion exams, it's a bugger.
