I've enjoyed looking at all the photos you all have been posting. There are some really fantastic shots. I figured it was time I posted my own. Keep up the good work out there.

Awayagain2 : I’ve said before, many of the photographs in this thread are of a professional standard. But those sunset shots are outstanding. Could even be considered as a magazine cover due to the large amount of sky.

I'm a fixed-wing kind-a-guy myself, but that doesn't mean I don't like them RW's.
Here's one I shot while waiting for the skygods to load up the PAC.
It's Sjöfartsverkets new SAR-helo, that has replaced the Marines' Super-Pumas.

I feel it is my duty to fellow "rotorheads" to post this picture of our support truck in our hotel parking lot last night.

I'm pretty sure the crane bucket was 2000 gallons but we had it restricted to about 1400 or so due to the altitude. You can see the center strap in the photo that keeps it from filling to capacity.
With the Firehawk we use a 660 gallon to full capacity at sea level.
Ooops. My bad. We use an 800 gallon bucket at sea level and cinch it down to reduce the capacity as we head west and up into the higher altitudes.

May 2007 calendar
The calendar for May comes from the UK, where Miss Molly Collins is soon to be replaced by an EC135P2i: a last chance to see the MD902. Again, a widescreen and a standard format are available: left click on the thumbnail to open the full image, which can then be set as a background on your desktop.
