aleprovost,

Nice to see G-PASH again; I have about 40 hours on that one. Last flew her in February 2001, chasing some miscreant at Nottingham.

A nice Firefighting Skycrane picture

I took this pic of Heavylifts CH-54A N44094 (recently repainted into a scheme) during the "DAY FIRE" north of Los Angeles in Sept. 2006.

I think it's a Microwave Uplink/Downlink for them to send/receive the pictures.

But where's the camera? No Wescam/Cineflex hanging off the side. What pictures can they send?! Or am I missing something?

Yup. The 206 toe-in is certainly a photochop. The reg. is cut off on the bottom, and it must've been done by an amateur, cause I can't even see the trees in the background.

Joking aside, great pics!

He he and with the old fashioned baldy head!

Really big Mike I did think your flying pig photos a bit unrealistic, as I was sure that the hallowed Victorian Police would treat their prisoners with much better manners, perhaps with comfy chairs and cups of coffee instead of leaving them to sit on the ground in a roped off compound whilst they awaited their fate. It almost reminded me of some third world country?
