Top of the World

Yar but did You land & take off at 20,250' anyone can fly around that high....ask an Airbus Captain.

But to pull off a successful landing & take-off above the 'dead zone' (above 20,000')...now that is SOMETHING

Happy Landings

Maybe we should just stop right now and drop our pants out back to see who has the biggest balls...

This is NOT a competition....surely we are above that..... right...?

You'll notice I was still going up at 200ft a min
Must be some parallax - looks like 400 ft/min to me!

Steve,

Only I know you'd land and take off with your eyes closed in that niiiiiice bird on top of a 20k' mountain. Sadly there were nobody to rescue that day and Nepal was more than a fuel tank away... If I remember correctly, you were more interested in radio range to chat up your mate that day!

Myself, I prefer cruising in my sleek rotating iron machine around 9-10k' coupled up, feet up, but also with my eyes closed!

Cold you say? Man, minimal exposure will kill you... Been a while for me and not really missing it.

Enough about that. This is a photo thread. Photos anyone???
