On the Cobras we flew in Vietnam, we had seat belts attached so that we could take 2 people sitting on each ammo bay side door. We could take 4 people home in air-conditioned comfort that way.

A very simple rule is that you don't let rules stand in the way when combat needs dictate.

Canadian Rotorhead if your ever talking to the guy holding the fish tell him Ken says hi and ask him if he misses the Fort.

I had to lift in some concrete at Mt Hotham yesterday, for snow gun footings. The B3 Squirrel was fairly good at altitude (6000ft), and Big Mike took these shots along the way:

There is nothing like having your picture taken when you flying with your doors in a “Prohibited” configuration (front RH door removed, rear right hand door fitted); or are the rules different in Oz?

I'll ask, but he's been following me through the industry doing almost the same jobs as I had. If he's like me, he does not miss the Fort. If it's the one north of the Fontas you are speaking of.
